Good news. This is exactly what we have been waiting for. Applications for DESY Summer Student Program in Germany are now open. In this case the Program will be literally means it will be in Germany and all participants will travel to Germany. DESY is an International Summer Student Program. Applicants from all over the world are eligible to apply. This is a Paid Scholarship for International Students in Germany. The program will run in the summer of 2025 from 19 July to 8 September 2025.
All International Undergraduate & Master’s Undergraduate Students can apply for this fully sponsored Summer Student Program in Germany. Students with any Education Foundation are encouraged to apply for this DESY summer school. The system does not require IELTS / TOEFL testing.
Students are required to participate in the Complete Program. There will be parties, entertainment, tourism and work experience in various fields of education in Hamburg or Zeuthen (near Berlin). DESY will select 100 participants from around the world. All program-related expenses will be reimbursed by DESY. Full details on the DESY 2025 Summer Student Program in Germany are available below.

Access to Finance
DESY Summer Student pays for all costs of 100 selected participants.
- 1200 Euros / month
- Grants: DESY Summer Student will pay for one person ‘s living expenses.
- Travel expenses: Travel expenses to and from Germany (Airline Tickets)

Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be foreign nationals from outside Germany.
- Applicants who have already obtained a master’s degree or who will receive a Master’s degree by 2025 are not accepted.
- Both Postgraduate and Master students are eligible
- Applicants should not have been in DESY before as summer students.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Applicants must have a good working knowledge of English.
